Stitchcraft adventure at Birmingham NEC!

"purrrrfect love" from the gorjuss range
Wonky Witch Needlecraft love anything with a slightly quirky feel to it and with this in the back of our minds we went to the Craft and Stitching trade show at the NEC with the aim of seeing all the new and exciting cross stitch and needlepoint designs (one of our favourite being the new 'gorjuss' range from Bothy threads; see picture).  The great thing about a show like this is that you get to see all the kits up close and personal as a lot of them have been stitched and framed and sometimes you even get to meet and greet the designers.  If you love stitching and ever get the chance to go to a stitching show; I would highly recommend it as a great day out.

Whilst wandering around we saw lots of incredibly talented people trying their hand at new crafts and also came away with some new Wonky Witch Needlecraft cross stitch and tapestry design ideas.  I always find the car journey back from a show is good for mulling over new ideas and hopefully you should see some of those ideas come to fruition soon.  Watch this space!!!! :)

All in all a good trip to the NEC!

Happy Stitching
